My Path Into Cycling
My journey into professional cycling wasn’t traditional or fast paced; it was honest, unexpected, and full of moments that nudged me toward something bigger. I didn’t reach the international women’s peloton until age 28. Before that, I played soccer, spent hours in the gym, and dabbled in triathlons until I realised the bike was where my heart belonged.
Cycling gave me more than fitness. It gave me purpose, a new relationship with my body, and the chance to explore the world through sport. It asked me to take risks, leave my full-time job, and trust in myself - even when the path felt uncertain.
Racing Around the World
Racing Around the World
Since stepping into this sport, I’ve raced the first-ever Women’s Paris Roubaix, competed in the Tour de France Femmes, represented Australia on the world stage, and earned the honour of winning the Elite Australian National Road Race Championships.
My career has taken me across continents, through tight-knit communities, challenging seasons, and unforgettable moments. Eight months of the year, I’m based in Europe. The remaining months, I’m home in Australia reconnecting with my roots, training in the sunshine, and contributing to the cycling community that helped shape me.
What Drives Me?
Beyond results, I care deeply about authenticity, mental health, and staying true to myself. I’ve learned from injuries, setbacks, homesickness, and uncertainty. I’ve learned that joy matters, perhaps more than anything. Cycling asks a lot from us: long hours, big sacrifices, time away from family and friends. It must stay fun.
And I want to give back. Whether it’s sharing my story, speaking about wellbeing, helping at grassroots events, or supporting riders who remind me of my younger self these experiences keep me grounded and grateful.
my switch to gravel
my switch to gravel
My decision to make a full switch from road to gravel in the last 12-months has been one of my best decisions yet. After winning the overall UCI Gravel World Cup Series title for 2025 I confirmed to myself I have what it takes to race at the front.
Making the switch wasn’t easy. Another big focus shift in my career pathway. But with the support of sponsors, my team finding my passion again I could simply feel it was the best choice for me.
I rediscovered my passion for cycling, I was excited to race and ride my bike, and I felt like old me again. Finding love for the thing we do every day is so important, and I think one of the key ingredients to finding success, whatever that success looks like.
